Dangermouse asked for info and pic’s on one of Tuesday’s fires. I actually would have had these posted Tuesday, but I was busy flinging a 175g plastic disc around a field in South Ridge that evening.

This is a little strange, but once again Longshot is first on the scene with a camera (OK, OK, it was my wife this time.). No vide footage this time, just still pics. This photo is of the fire scene at about 3:30, when it had been mostly extinguished. It’s really making the Longshot family a little uncomfortable with all the fires near our house lately. Last year there were two directly behind us. One was a grass fire near the YMCA, and the other was a Back-Hoe that hit a gas line as they were putting utilities in. This year, there was the Dunmore grass fire that I filmed a few days ago, and now this.

As the fire was basically only about 100 meters from the Longshot Fortress of Solitude, I decided to go over and have a peak once things were under control. The property damage obviously included 4 duplexes and a cargo trailer owned by Kingsland Developments. I think all 4 of the properties were Kingsland developed as well.

I should note that the MH News reported the fire starting shortly after 3:00pm, which is incorrect. I know for sure that this thing was raging full out by 2:30, but I guess that isn’t a big deal.
